1984: The Beginning

What started as a small, family-run bakery in Cork was built on traditional methods, quality ingredients and a commitment to doing things properly - earning trust one customer at a time.

1990’s: Growing Demand

As demand grew, so did our range - expanding into par-baked breads and supplying a wider network of retail and foodservice partners across Ireland while maintaining the same focus on consistency and quality.

Still family-owned.
Still hands on.

Now a second-generation business, O’Keeffe’s continues to be led by the family - with decisions shaped by long-term thinking, care for our people and pride in what we produce. We’ve grown over the years, but we’ve never lost sight of what matters: consistency, trust and doing right by our customers.

A workplace built on
fairness and opportunity

We believe that how we treat our people matters. That’s why we take a transparent and measurable approach to creating an inclusive workplace.

Reflecting strong female representation in senior roles, the company has a negative gender pay gap. We continue to focus on improving balance and opportunity across all levels of the business.

We are committed to building a workplace where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
